Nice for them but its come at a big price for Bob W. Does this show what's at stake at the top level? If so, it hardly seems worth it.

Yes John Boy that is very sad.
I wonder if he was ill going into the tournament and that is why Pakistan has disappointed - not that that takes anything from the Irish team, they have played very well as the score cards from both their games demonstrate.
This post was written before he died, of course, and would have taken an entirely different form had I known of his death.
