Is that a cigar he's smoking in the top pic, or is it a vivid marker?

Whoever he is, too much khaki mixed with red butterflies says:

"I'm a directionless modern day urban type who likes the idea of socialism and communism but only if I skip over the criminal acts of the bloody revolution, and as long as I don't actually have to live under such a regime."

If that is true, he probably has a name like:

Stephan Green

or

Matthew Johnson

Hi Ian,

The blogger in the picture is Ryan

and the URL at which both pictures appear is

Best Regards, Andrew

Well done, Veronica Mars. How'd you do it?

Oh, wait. You Googled "The Divinity Code" and "Morgan", right?

And Rick, my clothes actually say: "I just wear whatever's clean."

Good work Batman...no, wait, that's another movie...

Email me your address details and I'll send a copy out...

Thanks to Robyn Gallagher who took the photos displayed at the flickr site - there are many others of Mr Sproull..and you may care to comment on Ms Gallagher's awesome photography skills as well.

I have a couple more copies of this movie left, so those of you who can give me Matt Damon's mother's name (and merely responding "Mrs Damon" won't cut it) will go in a draw for the remainder...you have until Friday this week.

"Close but no cigar"!

Good work Batman...no, wait, that's another movie...

I'm counting down the sleeps till Dark Knight comes out. Ooh, man.

Hey there,

Matt Damon's Mum's name: [Edited out, but congrats, you are in the draw with a chance to win a copy of The Bourne Ultimatum. Everyone else: email the answer to ian (at) news24seven.tv]

Cheers,
Deb

haha so how right was I? haha. Classic!

Rick,

Not very?

Not directionless, not a state socialist or communist. I guess you were right about "modern day" and "urban". And it was a cigar (my last nicotine ever).

Ryan, are you sure you are not mates with Fidel Castro as that cigar does look to be of a Cuban variety ?

Sadly, Dad, it was not Cuban. Or maybe it was. It was a Romeo y Julieta, which means either Cuban or Dominican. Either way, it wasn't very good, mainly because it was one of those liquor-store aluminium-tubed dry-as-hell varieties my friend and I bought on the spur of the moment.

I do like Cuban cigars, though. Cuaba Divinos are my usual choice. But until I am certain I have properly kicked the cigarette habit, I won't be allowing myself any cigars. It's too easy for that first step to lead to making exceptions ("Oh, since I had a cigar last week, I might as well have just one smoke today.")

I don't mind supporting Cuban industry, though I don't approve of the authoritarian government there. The ridiculous petty American sanctions - a huge, wealthy consumer economy and easily the closest to Cuba - unfairly disadvantages them economically. Plus, they grow nicer-tasting tobacco.

Well, "ryan", perhaps you'll let your views on here continue to contradict your alleged politics then? hahaha oh no wait, you never said what your politics are...how convenient? haha Jesus, when do the laughs stop...

I've stated my libertarian socialist stance several times. You idiot.

No ryan , it is you who is the idiot . Please go and live in Cuba, as you can earn US$15 a week and drive a 1950's car.

well, even IF Ryan went to Cuba to earn $15 a week, he would still be EARNING the money, unlike those who claim to hate socialism and yet are happy to suckle at the public teat.

The Sumner police said if I want a photo of you fugley then I should check out the local zoo.

That's funny. When I went there, your photo was on the wall!

Anyway, tootleooh nutbar, I'm off to Oz to see my farnow.

Those 1950s Cuban cars are terrible on the environment, Dad. Just what kind of bleeding-heart liberal do you think I am? :)

Congratulations, Andrew. And thanks, Ian, for putting my photos to such an innovative use.

If anyone is interested, you can buy T-shirts with that photo of Ryan smoking the cigar. Ladies love them.
