Dutch MP Geert Wilders has just released his short film critical of Islam and the Koran. Even before its release, the supine equivocators were apologising for its existence. From site dutchnews.nl:
UPDATE: Liveleak.com has acquiesced to Muslim threats and withdrawn the video. NoMinister has further details. The first 10 minutes of the 17-minute film consist of a compilation of video fragments showing the victims of terrorist attacks in New York, Madrid and London. This is interspersed with translations of verses from the Koran and recordings of Islamic leaders calling for violence against non-believers.
In the last five minutes, Wilders focuses on Islam in the Netherlands. There are images of blocks of flats dotted with satellite dishes, policemen removing their shoes before entering a mosque, recordings of preaching and a selection of newspaper headlines. The film ends with the sound of a ripping page referring to Wilders' earlier call on Muslims to tear out pages from the Koran.
Wilders : ‘I want to show that Islam is a test for us. If we want to maintain our freedom... [the film shows a] clear distinction between ideology, Islam and Muslims. ‘I have nothing against Muslims’, he said.[embedded object hidden due to graphic picture] it's available here

This is quite a disturbing movie which clearly sets out the evils of Islam in very simple terms.
A few extracts from the koran interspersed with various speeches and images of its followers in action.
I am sure the film will help people who fear its extremist doctrines get their message across.
A widfer populace will see Islam's evils too.
My the Religion of Peace will be seething tonight.
Which of course will prove Geert's point.
I have posted the movie too.
Not much reaction yet but if DenMt is appauled then it obviously will have impact.
Just why do lefties fail to see evil in its narrow doctrines and Islam's contradictions with supposed cherished liberal beliefs such as feminism and gay rights?

Not to be an apologist for 911 or Madrid, etc, but there were no cameras recording the Crusade, now, were there?

If I were a Muslim a Qur'an would be the last thing I would use for evangelism. Reading this book repulses the average westerner. And this is supposedly the final revelation of the true God?
Meanwhile - Friday at the Church & a Muslim converts to Christ:~
"Magdi Allam, who converted to Catholicism from Islam and was baptised by Pope Benedict XVI, today branded his former faith as intrinsically violent.
'I had to do this (abandon Islam)', Allam wrote in a long letter to the Italian daily Corriere della Sera. 'Beyond ... the phenomenon of extremists and Islamist terrorism at the global level, the root of evil is inherent to a physiologically violent and historically conflictual Islam,' wrote the Egyptian-born journalist, who says he has received death threats and is under police protection."

I wonder what friday at the Mosque will produce in the way of rational, intellectual responses to this film? Actually - I think I can guess... Wilders has merely reproduced Quranic statements and statements of Muslim leaders (of several nationalities) and some newspaper references, does this really make him a "far-right bigot"?
I'm away for the weekend & so can't participate in any discussion, but an investment of time in the following sources will be advantageous for the enquirer.
For insight into why the western elite leadership will not critique Islam I recommend Melanie Phillips' book "Londonistan" (fishpond have the 2nd edition).
I also recommend this article on Islam’s “Public Enemy #1” for illuminating reading on a Christian Priest causing Muslims themselves to question their faith (author Ray Ibrahim edited "The al-Qaeda Reader"):~

Lastly, I heartily recommend the following 1 hour video on "Jihad in Europe" (in 8 parts). Excellent information from three genuine specialists (Melanie Phillips among them):~

Did I hear on the radio that some clerics were so annoyed to be portrayed as violent they threatened to kill the man? Ironic really.
