If this is true than "Chris whatever" the CEO maybe guilty of assisting a fraudulent or corrupt practice.

Did He inform all other applicants that He had authorised documents to a competitor before the opening of the process?

More importantly, does the present Minister understand the timeline involved here and it's implications.

Also what about top level PA's , don't they have a need for ethics too?
Many have business degrees.

So why would they be party to a corrupt practice or do they not think they are liable because they were following orders?

Lastly, Email is not a secure communication medium.
When are these people going to get this?
DUH!

I agree mickmac, but most people don't understand computers and it won't be till they do that the behaviour will change. However it makes it easier for those who wish to expose fraud and lies and I'm all for that.

I wonder why the backup tapes were "mysteriously damaged" and had to be forensically recovered in London. Watch for Liabore to allege foul play and doctoring by National.

And as a side issue, I also wonder why the White House has deleted 10 million emails, in violation of the Presidential Records Act? But I digress.

Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of a number of bloggers, myself included, it appears as though this story will die a rapid death. For some reason, the broadcast media won't touch it with a bargepole. Coming just a week after the PM lambasted the media for their supposed anti-Labour bias, and the eay ride they were supposedly giving John Key, this seems to be much more than mere coincidence.

Yes I could not believe my eyes. NZ Herald stuck into John Key this morning!

Good day at the office for Labour, they said!

Coincidentally Leighton Smith was unwell this morning, and Kerre Woodham provided a massive improvement in terms of objectivity.

"So why would they be party to a corrupt practice or do they not think they are liable because they were following orders?"

That rings a bell. Nuremburg was it? It wasn't a defence then either.

"Kerre Woodham provided a massive improvement in terms of objectivity"

I didn't listen but I find this hard to believe. If anyone is f..ed in the head, it's her.
