As I have just noted over at the Fairfacts Media Show, there's Guyon Espiner wetting himself over conflicts of interest involving Richard Worth and Tim Groser, noting even the perception of a confict of interest is danaging.
But surely there is a conflict of interest in a prime minister mandating extra payments to the UN at most interesting times, or at least the perception of a conflict of interest.
Yet , no-one seems to have followed the story of Uncle Helen buying her job.

Fairacts
I don't see how contributions from tiny New Zealand would influence the United Nations decision makers one way or the other.
She has won this role following an outstanding career in NZ politics.
She has also been voted NZs most outstanding living person.
It was John Key who took exception to what Richard Worth was up to, and Worth's resignation from appropriate Board followed.
The extreme right wing can't rid themselves of jealousy regarding the elevation of Helen Clark to a role that we should all be proud of.

"I don't see how contributions from tiny New Zealand would influence the United Nations decision makers one way or the other.'
It was all the Lying and digusting UN Brownie Point scoring manipulation of this Nation through Political agendas of her's and that got her the job. Also being a Marxist Control Freak helped aswell!
At least Helen Clark beat David Lange. He thought he was going to be in for the Post for the First World President of the UN's Global Dictatorship NWO/OWG.

U.N. 'Climate Change' Plan Would Likely Shift Trillions to Form New World Economy
A United Nations document on "climate change" that will be distributed to a major environmental conclave next week envisions a huge reordering of the world economy, likely involving trillions of dollars in wealth transfer, millions of job losses and gains, new taxes, industrial relocations, new tariffs and subsidies, and complicated payments for greenhouse gas abatement schemes and carbon taxes — all under the supervision of the world body.

are you sure?
I'm pretty sure.
No I don't think you're sure.
But I am...
yep, there it is again:
"The extreme right wing ..."
We can all be quiet now, we've been named: we are part of "the extreme right wing".
hahaha

It seems many people still confuse the meaning of "jealousy"...
Peter says "The extreme right wing can't rid themselves of jealousy regarding the elevation of Helen Clark ..."
That would indicate 'right wingers' regard Helen as their own, and would be upset should anyone else have her position. This seems highly unlikely, to say the least. Ha Ha!
For goodness sake, anyone who does not know the difference between jealousy and envy please read:

Read "The UN Gang". It shows what a crappy and corrupt (dis)organisation the UN is. Helen will be right at home. She won't make a difference either but that won't matter. NZ's most outstanding living person? Nah. Not a hope. She's awful.

Helen Clark was a great prime minister, and deserved this appointment.
If anyone can make it work, she will.
John Key is starting to fumble about the place. Will he have the work rate of Heln Clark? Will he have what it takes to sort out even Richard Worth, far less bigger walking time bombs he has around him?

"Helen Clark was a great prime minister"
She was the greatest liar this country has ever seen.Poor peter still pushing the rotten apple cart.

Daddy 4
She has just made a career and salary move that would dwarf any value you can provide to NZ or the world!
What's more, there is room at the top for Helen Clark.
Anyone can see that if Mike Moore and Don McKinnon can do what they did, the scope for Helen Clark is infinite now.
Where are you with Richard Worth Daddy?
And show some pride in a great leader - the tall poppy syndrome in our country is a huge liability.

piffle peter ; Helen Clark is destined to the pits of hell.
Posted by: dad4justice | April 08, 2009 at 09:54 AM
OK Daddy, and down in the depths of Hell, will you be man enough to open the door for her?
Less boring than heaven too I bet.

And show some pride in a great leader
is only a few words away from our great leader. It is dangerous to build up one person, especially when they admit to doing no wrong after being thrown out after the last general election.

Matthew
For Helen Clark personally, the General Election has provided a windfall. She is moving on and moving up. Her pay will be at least double of what she earned as prime minister and it will not be as stressful.
I did not think Helen Clark got thrown out so much as we elected a nice smiling man named John Key!
Elections are like sports - you win some and lose some.
In a few short months, we have seen enough of National led govt to know they are headed for the rocks. It is just a matter of who is on navigation duty when the inevitable happens.
Corrections (crusher collins) and education (chopper tolly) come to mind. That is along with Richard Worth, Pansy Wong etc,
Also Bill English is no Michael Cullen is he?

'Also Bill English is no Michael Cullen is he?'
-- No, thank God!

George
You will find you will have to eat those words - I predict confidently.
Bill English has it all to prove - especially given his history of trying to lead National.
Which reminds me - how long was Nick Smith the deputy of the party?
Ha Ha Ha!!!
