As you may know the UN climate change conference is underway in Bali. The carbon footprint of this week long event must be simply enormous when you consider the thousands of delegates coming from all over the world to spend a week in luxury air conditioned hotels and conference rooms before returning home.
I wonder if anyone has calculated how the carbon footprint of such an event compares with that of New Zealand's flatulent dairy herds?
Perhaps that is why this London climate change protester is wearing an airplane on her head.
She is one of many who have taken to the streets to protest climate change.
Its harmless activity I suppose but in terms of changing how weather patterns may evolve in coming years probably of little significance.
However I am a little concerned that the flapping of the banner behind the airplane on her head may have consequences during Mid Western tornado season next year, a result of the butterfly effect.
