According to a reporter on Sir Humphrey's more than one name is being given out depending on who you talk to within southern kinx. When asked who Roxanne is she got a Rachel, a Lindsay, a Desiree and an admission that the group actually didn't know but had identified a couple of suspects.

I think you have a point though Ian, when asked "who is Roxanne" you'd think the smart thing to say would be "I don't know, I doubt she exists because everything she said is rubbish" but instead they seem to be offering names which lends credibility to the truth of Roxanne's testimony.

By offering a name/names they are tacitly admitting that that person is someone known to them who would be in a position to know these such things.

Technically, if I was involved in BDSM I'd hope my mother knew absolutely nothing about it. So probably not a good term of phrase. :)
