As for dishonouring afllen soldiers, I thought Upham's daughter did a good job whingeing about lack of security. She could make all the security arrangements she liked when she ownd his medal, but didn't she do enough dishonouring by turning it into 30 pieces of silver in the first place?

At some point we need to let these trinkets go if recovery means paying crooks and giving them air time. This wasn't the right thing to do and I suspect the original holders of these awards would have had higher ideals than Campbell over this (which is not difficult).
